perserverance pays out
11 steps to finding a bike-thief
Step 1) Let everyone know your bike is stolen
Step 2) Remove all your stuff from the kitchen and living room (including our only properly working vacuun cleaner and most of our plates and glasses)
Step 3) Slam some doors
Step 4) Leave the house, and look for your bike again upon your return the next day
Step 5) Write a note to let everyone know what you think about thieves, and give an eviction warning if possible
Step 6) Apologize for the door-slamming
Step 7) Explain your situation in the apology to make the thief feel bad
Step 8) Have a proper talk with those who read your note and not take it serious, until they change their tone
Step 9) Check for your bike next time you come home and write a note to let people know it is still missing
Step 10) Leave for Olso. Check for your bike when back home late the same night
Step 11) Knock on everyones door late at night to let them know the bike is still missing
Step 12, 13 and 14) NOT NECESSARY - crime solved, offer to replace the bike included
Though step 12-14 were not needen, they were planned:
12) Compose a "I lost my bike" song and play it loudly every morning.
13) Hold forced guided tours in the basement showing where your bike was taken from and show each and every otherr bike down the, pointing out each time that it's not yours.
13) Make posters with a drawing of your bike to spread all around town.
True words, indeed: "And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought ralways to pray and not slose heart. 2 He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who tneither feared God nor respected man. 3 And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ 4 For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself, u‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man, 5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.’” 6 And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says." Hvordan lage rabarbrasuppe på datarommet
Du trenger:
- et stykke rabarbra
- supersøtt jordbærsylt* eller litt sukker
- vann
- vannkoker
- kopp, tallerk, skje, saks
1) Klipp opp rabarbrastykket i tynne skiver med saksen. Hold dem så små som mulig for at de lett skal bli gjennomkokt.
2) Legg stykkene oppi koppen og hell kokende vann over slik at det nesten dekker all rabarbraen
God appetitt!
* et hvilket som helst kjøpesyltetøy gjør susen
